ASICLAND (CEO Jong-min Lee) announced on November 3 that it participated in the SEDEX 2021 exhibition held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul from October 27 to 29.

The company introduced design models related to artificial intelligence (AI) based on deep learning, system-on-chip (SoC), and Internet of Things (IoT).

ASICLAND, the sole TSMC Value Chain Aggregator in Korea, introduced TSMC's latest technology. The company also unveiled a customized business model.

There, the solution used in the design of Deeper-I NPU SoC was introduced as well and got favorable comments from buyers and visitors.

Jong-min Lee, CEO of ASICLAND, said, "ASICLAND is a specialized company that can handle highly advanced semiconductor processes," adding, "We will become a global semiconductor company based on our differentiated design capability."

The company provides a turn-key service by designing high-performance system semiconductors and outsourcing the flow activities after fab-out. It has plenty of experiences on advanced technology processes. It has IP/SoC development and Quality Assurance departments for mass production.

Since its foundation in 2016, the company has been focusing on R&D and technology transfer for the development of next-generation products. Currently, there are more than 120 engineers in various fields, including SoC, Front-end, DFT(design for test), Back-end, package, and test.

ASICLAND develops and mass-produces memory controllers, 5G communications, and AI semiconductors. Last year, the company participated in the design of SAPEON X220, Korea's first artificial intelligence semiconductor developed by SK Telecom, proving its technological capabilities in the field of custom semiconductor solution.
