ASICLAND wins Presidential Commendation of 2021 Award for Promoting Venture Start-ups

- Presidential Commendation among ‘Startup’ nominees in a ceremony hosted by Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

ASICLAND (Lee Jong-Min, CEO) won the presidential commendation at the ceremony of 2021 Award for Promoting Venture Start-ups, held on Dec 16^th.

‘2021 Award for Promoting Venture Start-ups’ is a ceremony hosted by Ministry of SMEs and Startups to discover and encourage outstanding venture and startup companies which contributed a lot to national progressive growth. ‘Startups’ award is for the companies under 7 years of operations since foundation, having great technical competence and growth potential, with over 3years of substantial contribution in revitalizing startups.

ASICLAND, a sole TSMC VCA in Korea among 8 VCAs across the world, is a specialized company that provides ASIC services using highly advanced processes such as 7nm, 12nm, 16nm and 28nm. It has proved its high performance in ASIC service by contributing to the successful design of SK Telecom’s AI semiconductor ‘SAPEON-X220’.

Since its foundation in 2016, ASICLAND has been making a lot of efforts to invest in R&D and tech-transfer for its growth. It currently has 120 engineers across each field of Front-end, DFT(Design For Test), Back-end, Package, Test, etc.

ASICLAND offers services from Spec-In to Backend by having organization to support various process technology, mass production, IP development, SoC development, Test, Quality Assurance, etc.
